a few cards to show...

Hello peeps, wow what a busy day. I was asked to help out at my daughters school this morning, we went on a trip to the forest. Trekking all morning looking a trees.....hhhhmmmmm!!!! lol. To be honest I did enjoy myself. The best part was we got to do mud paintings yippeee!!! I was the biggest kid there. We all had sheets of material, bowls of mud, then we had to find things within the forest to make a painting with... it was brill.... I was using moss, twigs, leaves, stones for stamping materials. But the best part of today was when I got home......mys new stamps from sir stampalot arrived. Been trying for ages to get certain Magnolia stamps, placed my order on Friday and they were waiting on the doormat when I arrived home. So I did make one card, but will leave that to show another time.

The cards below I made last week but with my 'bling' challenge I decided to leave them until now to show. The Lola stamp is another recent addition to my ever increasing addiction to stamps.

Papers are Dovecraft Retro Flowers
Cuttlebug distressed stripes embossing folder
Derwent watercoloured pencils & Copic markers

The card above I made using Basic Grey 'gypsy' paper pad, took me a very long time before I was able to use this, as I can't bare to part with my lovely papers...boo hoo!!! ( I also needed to lie down afterwards to recover....lol!!!)

This card was for the Do Crafts monthly friendship swap.

The papers are K & Co.

Well that's all for now folks. Will have a bit more time tomorrow (hopefully) to catch up with everyone. Love & best wishes to you all, take care xx vicki xx

Gorgeous cards Vicki, love the layouts you've used.

Of course you can join in with my birthday blog candy giveaway! I'd be really offended if my new blog buddy didn't enter! :)

Your cards are lovely Vicki, I especially like the bright colours of the middle one but they're all great. Thanks for the vote of confidence with the craft club thing too.

Those cards are cute, I really like the one with the little tags hanging down, I'm going to have to try that, I have a stamp set with a bunch of small images and I don't use it enough.
