withdrawal symptoms....

evening all. Well it's is going to be a while before I can make any more cards....Boo!! Hoo!!..but there is a great reason why......I'm in the middle of decorating the spare bedroom/my craftroom. Hubby made a start yesterday i.e filling in cracks and sanding etc (I'm pretty hopeless at that part of decorating) He went back to London this afternoon (he works there throughout the week) so I have just given the ceiling a second coat and one coat on the walls. Bought some storage jars, voile curtains and that Expedit bookcase from Ikea. Will have to wait until hubby is home next weekend for him to put up the new spotlights. When I'm a little more organized, I will pop some pics on my blog. Thanks for visiting xx vicki xx

What a fun project to decorate your craft room - hope you'll be sharing pics of the finished room. Sorry you can't make cards for a while but it will worth the wait to do so in your newly decorated room!

We decorated just after christmas and I had to tidy all my craft things away, thankfully it was only a week, but I missed making cards. Hope you are up and running soon and cannot wait to see your pic's. x

I just went through that. It is a pain when you are going through it, but so worth it in the end!

Oh, Vicki!!! Now this is exciting. I so need to do that in my studio, it's just trashed. Have you seen the photos Sistah Jo posted of her work space? I love love love seeing where other women make art; I find it enormously inspirational. HAVE FUN! And I can't wait to see the pictures. Are you going to do Before/After?

I can't wait to see your new workspace. I must say, the whole idea of "working in London during the week" sounds so romantic, so uban, and so WOW. Isn't it too cool that we can communicate with people from other continents??!! We are pretty lucky to be living in this time. Enjoy your studio remodel and keep us posted!
