My Paperlicious Oasis...
Well here is my little space. I can't believe how much stash I have accumulated in such a short space of time. Ok where to start. IKEA fab shop, love it, love it, love it. Storage jars £1.99 4 pk. Table and Expedit storage unit also Ikea. Best buy though curtains/voile £2.99 per pair, ok they are nothing special but they do the job. Baskets are from Matalan, Instore and ikea. Spent most of this evening sorting out my ribbons, didn't realise I had so many. I bought some dowelling (not sure if that is how its spelt), painted it white and just popped it through the shelf brackets, will do for now. The pink baskets on the shelf also hold ribbons, as do the glass jars. I just can't wait for the bunk beds to go, will have even more space to store even more scrummy stash ...lol!!! I couldn't resist putting Paperlicious Oasis on the wall, for the time being I have used Brenda Pinnicks chipboard alphabets, but when I get some free time I will paint the letters properly. Well that's a little insight into my crafty space. thanks for looking, xx vicki xx
Pirate Princess 13th card and box...
I have made this card and box for our Niece, Amy who will be 13 in a fortnight. She loves all the skull and cross bone fashion and jewellery, but the girlie type not so much the gothic type. She strongly denies being a Goth....lol. I have to thank one of the girlies on the Do Craft forum, Kerry, for drawing my attention to these funky papers, she is an amazingly talented lady to boot. Huge thanks Kerry. (I hope you don't mind me mentioning you). Perhaps I should have entered this for Natty K's blog candy instead. Thanks for stopping by, take care all xx vicki xx

Pretty in pink
Over at Crafting Fun, Natty K has some delicious blog candy up for grabs. So I thought I would bite the bullet and join in the fun. This is the first time I have entered any blog candy challenge, but I suppose you have to be in it to win it!! I have used Magnolia, Tilda stamp and coloured it using twinkling H20's. Never used them before, just recently purchased them, together with Sakura stardust pen. Natalies' challenge was for a pink birthday card....hhhmmmm I think this is maybe a little too pink though he! he! and the sequins aren't gold like this photo shows, they are pearly pink. Thanks for stopping by, xx vicki xx
Star of the Day
Well my room is as good as finished. Just waiting for hubby to fit new lights and curtains poles, then I can move everything back in. At the moment most of my stash is stored in boxes in my bedroom...aaarrrggghhh!! I have made a start on birthday cards for this month though, thank goodness, there are sooo many coming up, March is a hectic month for birthdays in our family. Well this card is for the son of my best mate, Leigh, well she is more like this sister I never had. We have been friends for over 25years....omg!!!!...is it really that long. Her son Connor has recently started guitar lessons at school. I have only had this stamp for a few days, it came part of a set of six. I thought it would be very appropriate.
Thanks for visiting, take care, love and best wishes xx vicki xx

Mothers Day
I'm trying to get started with my Mothers Day cards. This is for my mil. Image is Tilda (Magnolia). Have used Bazzil Bling card to emboss Divine Swirls. Letters are 'best friends forever' alphabets. Thanks for looking. I've got loads to do today, so this is only a quick post. Will pop back soon to chat more. Take care everyone xx vicki xx
Playing catch-up.....
......Well I certainly picked the wrong week to do some decorating....lol. Didn't realise just how many cards I've got to make, there are so many birthdays coming up and I'm in a right panic cos I don't know how I'm gonna have time to make them. Well here's a start this 'cowboy' card is for my friends little boy. This is image is Sugar Nellie and he is part of a set I received a couple of days ago, first chance I've had to play.

withdrawal symptoms....
evening all. Well it's is going to be a while before I can make any more cards....Boo!! Hoo!!..but there is a great reason why......I'm in the middle of decorating the spare bedroom/my craftroom. Hubby made a start yesterday i.e filling in cracks and sanding etc (I'm pretty hopeless at that part of decorating) He went back to London this afternoon (he works there throughout the week) so I have just given the ceiling a second coat and one coat on the walls. Bought some storage jars, voile curtains and that Expedit bookcase from Ikea. Will have to wait until hubby is home next weekend for him to put up the new spotlights. When I'm a little more organized, I will pop some pics on my blog. Thanks for visiting xx vicki xx

Home for my Magnolias and Sugar Nellies
Well this is what I've come up with. I bought a Maya Road coffee break tin painted it with white acrylic paint, then covered it with Bo Bunny papers, put some eyelets around and threaded some pink ribbon through. Punched some flowers from different coloured card, added more ribbon on the handles..... oh!!!! and of course there is Tilda sitting on top. I've just come across some Molton Brown boxes I've had for ages, gonna do something with those now. This altered art is very addictive.

Hello peeps, gosh the days just fly by don't they. Haven't got any cards to post as yet just passing by to say hello and "WOO!!! HOOOO!!!!!! Well done Wales" blimey we won AGAIN, thats England and Scotland we've beaten now, how on earth did that happen, oooppps!!! sorry to rub it in. Well to be honest, not really too keen on Rugby but all the lads in our house are crazy for it, especially hubby as he played the game into his late 20's until a neck injury got the better of him. Also on Saturday it was 18 years that hubby and I had our engagement party, we only realised on Sunday..lol.... see just goes to show we've been together too long now. My scallywags are off school this week with half, so far the weather has been gorgeous and we have been making the most of it. Probably won't be around much this week ....boo hoo, well gotta keep the little ones entertained. ooohh yeh I have made a start on my maya road tin, also in the middle of altering a wooden box which contains loads of stamps, I got from QVC, trouble is though I don't know when I will get round to finishing it. Oohh also I am so annoyed with royal mail at the mo, I posted my Friendship card last Wednesday to my Do Crafts partner and she still has not received it. I put a large stamp on it to make sure it would get there, the post mistress took the envelope off me and put it in the sack, but Dawn has not got it, so I have made a duplicate one, well just finished it in fact, and I have got a good mind to send it recorded delivery. Well rant over, i'm off to have a cuppa which my son, Tom has just made for me. Take care everyone, xx vicki xx

Maya Road coffee break or lunch break tins.........
Well I had every intention of sorting my youngest daughters bedroom out today. Instead I am a woman on a very serious mission. I've spent most of this morning searching the net to try and find a Maya Road coffee break tin. I thought it would look great altered and then I could store all of my Magnolia and Sugar Nellie stamps in. Alas everywhere I try are sold out and I really, really need/want/gotta have one. So if anyone could please point me in the right direction I would be eternally grateful. Thanks to one and all in blogland xx vicki xx

Tilda sitting
Here's another new addition to my increasing collection of Magnolia stamps, more are on their way. Just a quick a simple card, also making use of my other new toy, the crop a dile, which I love. The flowery backing paper came free with a crafting magazine, the frame was from a chipboard collection from QVC, as were the ribbons. Have added a touch of glitter to Tilda's wings. Thanks for looking xx vicki xx
I've also noticed from my other sistersblogs that there are new members to SBS 11 will promise to add all of your names to my sidebar later on and leave a message on your blogs. Will look forward to getting to know you all. Well done Gillyflower for joining SBS 11.

I've been tagged by Pixiedust!!!!!
Happy Monday to you all. Ok I've been tagged again.
The middle Name Game and this is what you have to do:-
These are the rules:-
You must post the rules before you give your answers.
You must list one fact about yourself for each letter of your middle name. Each fact must begin with that letter. If you don't have a middle name, just use your maiden name.
After you've been tagged, you need to up-date your blog with your middle name and answers. At the end of your post, you need to tag one person for each letter of your middle name. (Be sure to leave them a comment telling them they've been tagged and need to read your blog for details.
As I don't have a middle name, I'll use my maiden name again which, as said before was SMITH
S - is for my wonderful husband Stephen
M - is for Mauritius, where we had our honeymoon, almost 10 years ago this May
I - is for India-Jade, this is the name I choose for our daughter, but Stephen wasn't having any of it so he named her Georgia-May instead.
T - is for Tia Maria, ooooohhhh the hangover, drank way too much of this when I was younger and now can't go nowhere near it. Shame cos I used to love it.
H - is for happy, the postman has just delivered three new Magnolia stamps this morning, YIPPEEE!!! can't wait to play.
Now for the five people I am going to tag. Dawn (all pink girl), Laurel (sbs 11), Bev (SBS 11), Andria (SBS 11), and Bridget (SBS 11 )

A few more Magnolia cards
Hi there. Well I've made just a few more cards using these cutie's. Firstly a retirement card for a school caretaker, at the moment I've got a thing for blue/brown colour comb so when I found this paper amongst my stash I just had to use it. The next card is a get well soon card, shame the photo doesn't show the glossy raindrops or the top of the umbrella where I've added some glossy accents. The next card is for our Neice (off our children) who will be 13 in a couple of weeks, really liked the rich colours in the backing paper, which just so happened to be free with one of the crafting mags. Thanks for looking in on my blog. Hope everyone is having a great weekend.
