Magnolia Insta Tilda

Hi crafty bloggers!! So for this card I've used lots of new goodies....YAY!!! finally had some time to myself to play with new dies and Distress Re-Inkers.  Insta Tilda is among one of my favourite Magnolia images at the moment but Ooohhhh my gosh!!!! It took ages to colour her as I am so out of touch with Distress Inks.   I think Copics are so much easier and quicker but I'm not giving up as I really need the practise.

I've used my new Go Kreate Frilly No 6 Dies to create the shape of this card.  Insta Tilda has been coloured with Distress Inks, (Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose and Worn Lipstick for skin and cheeks, Worn Lipstick for her top and Stormy Skies for her Jeans).  Other new dies are Joy Crafts Viewfinder and Marriane Collectable filmstrip die and camera stamp set.  'Celebrate Today' sentiment is Stampin Up.  'Memories, Cherished, Forever', Ticketed stamps by Autumn Leaves, Katie Pertiet.  Papers are My Minds Eye, Lace, Cheesecloth, Seam binding, Flowers and gems for finishing touches.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:-

Crafty Ribbons - Ribbon or Lace
Craft Rocket Challenge - Ribbon and/or Lace
Alphabet Challenge - P is for pretty in Pink

Lili of the Valley - Annabel Texting

Good evening crafting peeps! Hope you're all enjoying your weekend so far.

Must say how excited we are in this household that Wales have made it through to the quarter-finals of the Euro's.  However, I do feel that Northern Ireland were the better team today, their defence was awesome and my heart went out to the team and their fans when they scored an own goal.  I don't know what's come over me these past few weeks as I don't normally like football.  But I am so extremely proud of the Welsh team and the fans, waiting 58 years and doing tremendously well so far, Da Iawn boys!

My son came back from Toulouse yesterday after spending one of the best weeks of his life thoroughly enjoying himself at the Wales v Russia match, (such a superb game!) and meeting football fans from different countries.

Anyways, enough of football and  back to crafting.  I've coloured Annabel texting with Copics, then heat embossed the entire image with clear embossing powder.  The patterned papers are a mix of Stampin Up! and from a digi kit.  Martha Stewart butterfly punches. Sentiment tags. Prima paper flowers,  Dew Drops in the centre of the flowers and gems for embellishments.
